At this virtual event hosted by Sertainty, TDI’s CEO Paul Innella, Tech Mahindra’s Rajiv Singh, and Sertainty’s Jeff Snyder discussed a range of topics including the 2020 Tech Industry’s outlook and challenges, what drives a DevSecOp Framework, and data management at the data-layer to mitigate exposures without reducing data usability. Later in the discussion, conversation gave way to a Q&A session that touched on a variety of subjects such as cybersecurity performance measurement, consolidating overlapping redundant technologies, and whether cybersecurity law has been keeping up with the pace of technology.
During Paul’s presentation, the primary focus centered around the usage of performance management to effectively minimize risk. Paul discussed the upward trend of cybersecurity spending despite the ever-increasing frequency of cyberattacks, calling into question the efficacy of our increased cyber spending, as well as the challenges to accurately tracking cybersecurity performance. Finally, Paul concluded his talk with the tangible benefits of performance management and TDI’s international experience with global partners in this capacity.
