Introducing CPI Exceptions: Enhancing Your Cybersecurity Performance Management…

We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking addition to the CnSight® platform. Introducing CPI Exceptions, a powerful feature that allows users to selectively remove data points from their cybersecurity performance metrics. With this new capability, CnSight users can now fine-tune their data analysis, gain deeper insights, and make more informed decisions to enhance their organization’s cybersecurity posture.

The Challenge: While CnSight and its built-in Cybersecurity Performance Indicators (CPIs) offer valuable insights, it’s crucial to acknowledge that not all data points are created equal. In certain cases, specific data points may skew the overall CPI calculation, leading to potentially misleading interpretations. This is where CPI Exceptions come into play, providing cybersecurity professionals with the means to selectively exclude data points that may not accurately reflect their organization’s true security performance.

As an example, if you are tracking the number of users who have clicked a phishing link in your most recent round of phishing simulations, you may want to exclude any data points relating to departed employees. If John Smith’s last day was a day after the simulation kicked off, any data points tied to him will skew the overall performance of the organization.

CPI Exceptions allows CnSight users to meticulously curate their data analysis by selectively removing specific data points from CPI calculations. With this capability, cybersecurity professionals can exclude accepted risks and acknowledged deficiencies. This allows them to take advantage of a more precise and granular analysis offered by CnSight.

CPI Exceptions are seamlessly integrated into the CnSight platform, enabling users to easily configure and manage data exclusions. Users can remove data points in any CPI that fall outside desired parameters, ensuring their CPI calculations accurately reflect the security performance they seek to measure.

At TDI, we are committed to providing cybersecurity professionals with powerful tools that empower them to make informed decisions and drive improvements in their organizations’ security postures. With the introduction of CPI Exceptions, we aim to enable more precise and granular data analysis, offering deeper insights and better-aligned cybersecurity strategies.

Harness the power of CPI Exceptions in CnSight to curate your data analysis, gain accurate benchmarks, and optimize your cybersecurity efforts. Stay ahead of the curve and embrace the new era of data-driven security excellence.
